Atlanta Falcons picked up their first win of the 2024 NFL season with a dramatic 22-21 victory away at the Philadelphia Eagles.

Drake London’s touchdown with 38 seconds remaining levelled the match at 21-21, with Younghoe Koo kicking the extra point.

Having started the final quarter 15-10 ahead, the Falcons surrendered a five-point penalty to the Eagles, who scored 11 unanswered points before London’s late touchdown.

Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins threw two touchdowns, including a 41-yard pass for Darnell Mooney at the start of the third quarter. Mooney scored by running and performing a front flip with the ball in hand on his way into the end zone.

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts had a hand in both of their touchdowns, throwing the opener for DeVonta Smith before rushing one himself midway through the fourth quarter.

After two rounds of fixtures, both sides have one win and one defeat.
