Days after Cardi B gave birth to her and ex Offset’s third child, she shared some of her family’s more intimate moments in a sweet new video.
Posting the clip to TikTok on Sept. 15, the “Bongos” rapper shared behind-the-scenes moments from the hospital after welcoming her baby girl.
In one snippet, a medical professional is heard telling Cardi, “You did so amazing. I’m so proud of you. She’s so perfect.”
Cardi’s estranged husband Offset is nearby, cradling all 5 pounds, 9 ounces of his baby girl in his arms. The parents FaceTimed with their two kids, daughter Kulture, 6, and son Wave, 2, to show off their newest sibling.
“Hi Mommy!” an excited Kulture calls out to Cardi. “Is the baby sleeping?”
Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, replies, “Yeah, she’s little.”
In addition to soaking up the newborn bliss, Cardi also took herself back to the gym, posting on her Instagram Story on Sept. 16 that she was doing a “Late night gym session… No heavy lifting, no weight just straight stair master until next week.”
She added as a word of caution, “Remember ladies this is my third baby… with my other 2 babies I was still on bedrest on the first week postpartum.”
The 32-year-old first announced that she and Offset had welcomed their third child together on Sept. 7, calling her little girl: “The prettiest thing.”
Cardi and Offset recently celebrated Wave’s birthday together and have continued to do things as a family despite their split.
The “WAP” rapper announced her pregnancy—just hours after filing for a divorce from the 32-year-old rapper—on Aug. 1 in a baby bump Instagram post captioned, “With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all!”
According to her recent divorce filing, this mother of three requested primary custody of their kids along with child support from the Migos alum.
The petition stated that Cardi and Offset had “experienced irreconcilable differences that have caused the breakdown of the marriage” and that “there is no reasonable prospect of reconciliation.”
