Antony has not been arrested or charged in either country and returned to training with Manchester United after being granted leave to address the claims.
While the Brazilian police investigation concluded without indictment, the case’s ongoing nature leaves some uncertainty regarding Antony’s legal situation, which has reportedly affected his form on the pitch. Manchester United, meanwhile, has stated that they take the allegations seriously.
