BREAKING: Police, SSS surround Kano Emir’s Palace, bar entry and exit

Armed policemen and operatives of the State Security Service, SSS, have surrounded the Kano Emir’s Palace, Kofar Kudu barring entry and exit from the palace.

Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II is expected to escort the newly-appointed Wamban Kano, Munir Sanusi, to his district posting in Bichi.
