A man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after a crossbow was allegedly fired at a house in Hull.
Humberside Police said officers were called to Victoria Avenue at about 22:40 BST on Monday.
Andrew Woollen, 50, of Perth Street, Hull, who was arrested at the scene, has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and possession of a bladed article in a public place, as well as drugs offences.
No pleas were entered when he appeared before Hull Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday and he was remanded into custody ahead of an appearance at Hull Crown Court on 8 November.
