
One month after Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset, the exes reunited in honor of their son Wave’s third birthday party as Cardi showed off her bare baby bump.
Cardi B and Offset are making waves at their latest reunion.
The exes reunited in order to celebrate their son Wave’s third birthday at the American Dream water park in East Rutherford, New Jersey for what she described as a “last-minute party” on Instagram Sept. 1.
The “WAP” rapper showed off her growing baby bump at the soiree in a crop top and baggy jeans. The proud mom also rocked pink hair and a fuzzy white hat with ears as she posed with Offset, and their kids Wave and Kulture, 6. Offset’s sons Jordan Cephus, 14, Kody Cephus, 9, and daughter Kalea Cephus, 9, from previous relationships also posed with the former couple in a big family photo at the SpongeBob-themed event.
Despite their split and Cardi filing for divorce from Offset on Aug. 1, the former couple appeared to be on good terms, filming one another in their Instagram Stories celebrating Wave’s milestone
In one clip, Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, danced with the toddler, who is rocking a blinged-out chain necklace with a giant bedazzled wave on it. The family all sang to Wave as he blew out the candles on his transportation-themed four-tiered cake
Unfortunately, the lavish catering wasn’t saved as Cardi shared on took to her Instagram Story on Sept. 1.
“This why we be needing our moms, right?” she said, lamenting the fact that she was in charge of saving the party leftovers and forgot while her mom was away on vacation and unable to attend. “I’m not the adult I think I am. I want my mommy! Mommy come back to me. I miss you.”
Amid the ongoing divorce between Cardi and Offset, the 31-year-old has requested primary custody of the former couple’s children including their baby on the way and for Offset to pay child support
Cardi’s rep previously clarified the circumstances behind Cardi and Offset’s split, telling E! News on Aug. 1, “This is not based on one particular incident. It has been a long time coming.”
As for baby no. 3, Cardi shared the first sonogram pic of her future child online. After one fan on X, formerly Twitter, posted the sonogram, writing that they could see a baby Wave’s face in the image, Cardi replied, “Me too.”

On Sept. 20, 2017, the couple privately tied the knot at home, just a few months after their relationship first began. “We found someone to marry us, and she did, just the two of us and my cousin,” Cardi revealed to fans months later. “I said I do, with no dress, no makeup and no ring!”

A month after their wedding ceremony, which was unbeknownst to fans at that point, Offset got down on one knee at a sold-out show and poppped the big question with an 8-carat sparkler.
April 2018: Baby on Board
Six months later, Cardi took to the SNL stage to announce she was expecting her first child with Offset.
June 2018: Bundle of Joy
The couple celebrated their little one on the way with a fairytale baby shower that summer.
“It was a special moment for Offset and Cardi, and you could tell there was a lot of love between them and in the room,” a source previously told E! News. “They are both very excited about the baby coming and are counting down the days.”
July 2018: Mom & Dad
Cardi and Offset’s daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, was born July 10, 2018, with her joining his kids Jordan, Kody and Kalea from previous relationships. And the “Bodak Yellow” artist said the Migos members chose the newborn’s name.
“My dude named the baby,” Cardi told Ellen DeGeneres at the time. “I really like the name. Imma let him say the name since he named the baby. It’s, like, almost tricky but when it comes out, it’s like, ‘Ahh!'”
